Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems located in Beloit, KS is a 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital first opened in 1929, and continues to serve North Central Kansas with modern facilities and technology. Operating as a county owned facility, MCHHS includes a 24 hour Emergency Room, a four bed Intensive Care Unit as well as acute and post acute care services. It has a new surgical wing with nine outpatient beds and three operating rooms. Being a rural healthcare system, the organization also provides services through a forty bed Long Term Care Unit, a ten bed Geriatric Psychiatric Facility, and a Hospice Program. MCHHS is aggressive in diagnostic studies with a full range of modern up to date technology which includes respiratory, physical and occupational therapy, cardiac/ pulmonary rehab, labor/delivery, nursery, radiology, CT scanning, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, pet scan, chemo/infusion therapies, level III emergency center, level I laboratory, pharmacy, social services, stress testing, sleep studies and providing a teaching hospital for medical students and nurses. MCHHS accomplishes its mission by teams. We have approximately 270 employees and they all have an opportunity to serve on a variety of those teams. MCCHS has a good compliment of qualified and dedicated medical staff that has served the region for many years.
