For decades, Ellsworth County Medical Center, originally known as Ellsworth Hospital Company, has been dedicated to improving lives through healing. Since its inception in 1900, the hospital has gone through a myriad of changes and advancements.

Through a bond issue for 3.2 million dollars, a beautiful new hospital, clinic and wellness center, have been built. The new 20 bed Critical Access Hospital provides not only in-patient services but also, out-patient services with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.

With five rural health clinics, ECMC is able to provide diversified services throughout the area. We currently have three primary care physicians and three mid-level practitioners that expertly care for patients. One of ECMC’s greatest assets is its employees. Employees are valued at ECMC and considered to be just as important as the patients served.
