Job Description:
Location: Orlando, FL, Courtland building
Schedule: Requires flexibility. Open hours are 7-7 M-F Saturday 7-12
Implements customer service initiatives to enhance patient, physician, and employee experiences. Promotes positive behaviors that improve interactions with patients, families, visitors, physicians, vendors, and staff. Responds to customer needs to ensure effective care and service delivery. Contributes to hospital, department, and community initiatives, including special programs like network integrity pathways and residencies. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accrediting bodies' standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA, OSHA, DNV, and discipline-specific practice acts. Prepares and supervises support staff activities, including revenue cycle management and supply ordering. Supports directors in developing budgets and capital equipment requests. Monitors budget performance and formulates action plans for volume, revenue, expenses, and labor variances. Participates in strategic planning committees to align with organizational goals. Promotes a collaborative and supportive environment by serving as a mentor and positive role model for clinical staff and students, fostering professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and Engaging in autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, and clinical practice education within a peer group. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. Establishes procedures and delegates authority to Center Manager and staff to direct the Rehab service line. Communicates service line status to the Director and keeps them updated with critical information. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong customer service skills and strong human relation skills [Required]
• Knowledge and implementation of rehabilitation related practice activities [Required]
• Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Windows [Required]
Education: • Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study: • in health care or business-related field.
Additional Information: • Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
